We are currently looking for Program Leaders and Assistants to jump in and assist with the success of camp.
If you enjoy working with multi-grade level children and are searching for a fulfilling position that allows you to make a difference in the life of children, this position is for you! Camp themes and plans are already developed and ready for you to have fun with the kids! Program Leaders and Assistants are responsible for assisting with the implementation of all aspects of camp.
General
Responsibilities:
Creating a fun and inviting atmosphere Implement engaging, hands-on learning experiences that are age and developmentally appropriate Responds to the individual needs, interests and pace of task completion of students.
Allows students' to work out their problems with each other, assisting when needed.
Interacts with students in a warm and respectful manner, building motivation and a sense of community within activities.
Acts as a positive role model at all times.
Communicates with Site Coordinator about concerns regarding students in the program.
Arrives to program on time and prepared for daily responsibilities.
Responsible for assisting with set-up and clean-up of camp space at end of activity/day.
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime License/Certification:
First Aid Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification (Preferred) Work Location:
In person.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
