Fast Friends is looking for an animal lover with a passion for dog rescue and dedication to compassionate companion animal care to join our Doggy Daycare and Boarding team.
Make sure Fast Friends is a fun place for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds by:
supervising playgroups learning individual dogs' needs and preferences communicating with customers about their dog's experiences You will be on your feet almost all day, completing general care tasks like:
preparing and serving meals bringing dogs to and from relief yards picking up messes (pee and poop) cleaning kennels (sweep, mop, disinfect) doing laundry washing dishes No prior experience with dogs is necessary--although it is preferred.
Skills needed to be successful in this position:
Excellent communication with team members, supervisors, and customers Enjoy being physically active, with some time outdoors each day Detail-oriented and observant Team-oriented Fast Friends requires near-perfect attendance:
we do our best to accommodate time off requests, but no dog staying with us will ever receive anything less than the absolute best care, and that means fully-staffed shifts every single day.
Please consider your winter driving situation, as we are open 365 days a year--dogs need to be fed and walked even when it is snowing.
