Overnight Caregiver

9p-7a (this time is somewhat flexible) 3-4 nights per week.
Duties:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals in need.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, dressing, and grooming (etc.
) - Monitor and record vital signs of individuals under your care - Observe and chart that patient is taking medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure privacy and confidentiality of individuals' information -Provide safety and assistance during overnight care.
This includes monitoring the patients needs and assisting the patient if they need care overnight, must be able to get up and tend to patients needs when they require care.
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving or direct support is preferred - Knowledge of basic medical procedures and ability to take vital signs - Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals - Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team - Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and documentation - Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules Prior experience in caregiving is preferred.
